GRUPO DALTRE awarded BINSALIM GEOSERVICES ENGINEERING CO. LTD a Consultancy Service to carry out a Geotechnical Investigation for the Proposed design and construction of hotel blocks at Michamvi in South District, South Region, Zanzibar. The purpose of the ground investigation is to provide recommendations and geotechnical design parameters for the foundation design
As part of this investigation, 6 six(6) boreholes were drilled to a depth of up to 15 m. The fieldwork included Standard Penetration Tests (SPT), soil and rock classification from borehole samples, and assessment of groundwater depth for construction purposes.
